SHEIQ is committed to making our website and app accessible and usable for as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

1. Scope

This statement applies to the SHEIQ website and the SHEIQ mobile application.

We aim to design and build our services to be inclusive and to support a range of devices and assistive technologies.

2. Our approach

We aim to follow recognised accessibility best practice, including the principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

We assess accessibility using a combination of manual checks and automated testing tools as part of our development process.

Conformance status: we aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards and currently consider our service partially compliant while improvements are ongoing.

We design for clear language, readable typography, touch-friendly controls, and predictable navigation.

3. Accessibility features

Depending on your device and settings, SHEIQ is designed to work with:

Screen readers and accessibility labels.
Dynamic text sizing and display scaling.
High contrast and system colour settings where supported.
Keyboard navigation and switch controls where applicable.
Reduced motion settings where available.

4. Known limitations

We are improving accessibility continuously. Some parts of the website or app may not yet fully meet all accessibility needs.

If you encounter a problem, we want to fix it.

5. Feedback and contact

If you have difficulty using SHEIQ, or you want to request content in an alternative format, contact support@sheiq.uk.

To help us investigate, please tell us:

Whether you are using the app or the website.
Your device model and operating system version.
The page or screen where the issue happened.
What you were trying to do and what went wrong.

6. How we respond

We will acknowledge accessibility feedback and aim to respond in a reasonable timeframe.

Where possible, we will provide a workaround and prioritise fixes based on impact and risk.

7. Updates to this statement

We may update this statement periodically as the website and app evolve.

The latest version will be available on the website and within the app.
